How long do eyelash extensions last?
With proper care, eyelash extensions can last 3-4 weeks. On average, we shed 2-5 natural lashes per day. Therefore, we recommend touch-ups every 2-3 weeks. This maintains a full, luscious appearance as your natural lashes shed.
Are eyelash extensions safe?
Yes, when applied by a trained professional at GlowXGiGi, eyelash extensions are completely safe. We use the highest cosmetic grade adhesive and follow strict hygiene protocols to ensure your safety and comfort.
If you are concerned with sensitivities, you can schedule a patch test. Make sure to do this at least 2 days prior to the actual treatment.
How long does the application process take?
A full set of eyelash extensions typically takes 1.5 to 2.5 hours. Touch-up/Fill appointments usually last about an hour. We recommend setting aside ample time to ensure a relaxed, thorough application.
Can I wear makeup with eyelash extensions?
Yes, you can wear makeup with extensions, but we recommend avoiding oil-based products and waterproof mascara. Stick to water-based makeup removers to preserve the longevity of your lashes

In short to maintain your lashes:
Avoid getting them wet for the first 24 hours. Gently clean them daily with a lash cleanser. Avoid rubbing or pulling at your lashes. Use a silk pillowcase to reduce friction while sleeping.
Can I still use an eyelash curler?
We advise against using mechanical eyelash curlers. They can damage both your natural lashes and the extensions. This happens by adding additional tension. Our extensions are designed to hold their curl without additional styling.
Will eyelash extensions damage my natural lashes?
Our skilled technicians at GlowXGiGi Skin & Beauty Studio apply eyelash extensions correctly. They should not damage your natural lashes. We carefully select the right length and weight for your individual lashes to ensure their health. Eyelash extensions should not hurt as long as they are properly applied. The cause of pain or discomfort is likely due to poor application or inadequate weight of the extensions.
What types of eyelash extensions do you offer?

How much do eyelash extensions cost?

Will my natural lashes fall out?
Eyelash Extensions should not make your natural eyelashes fall out any faster than they would on their own. Eyelash extensions should not damage the natural lash if applied correctly. They will follow their natural course of their hair growth cycle.
Who can do eyelash extensions?

Eyelash extensions are not only an art but a science. It is a specialized technical skills. It requires attention to small details. In addition, to being properly licensed, eyelash extension artist must be especially trained and certified.
Can you apply extensions to short or damaged eyelashes?
No, at GlowXGiGi Skin & Beauty studio, we prioritize natural lash health. We only apply lashes to healthy, strong, viable lashes. If you have experienced trauma to the lashes that resuted in damage, we recommend waiting 1-2 lash cycles (approximately 6-12 weeks to allow the lashes to grow back.

What are the risks of eyelash extensions?
Applying eyelash extensions involve using professional cosmetic grade adhesives and sharp specialty tweezers in close proximity to the eyes. Stay still during your treatment to prevent sudden movements.
A risk for eyelash extensions, is adhesive allergy or sensitivities. To ensure you don’t have any sensitives or allergies, we can schedule a patch test.
What is the difference between adhesive allergies vs. sensitivities?
There are differences between allergic reaction and sensitivities. Eyelash extension adhesives are made of strong chemical components that should be used with extreme caution. If used incorrectly, adhesives can cause permanent vision loss and serious eye injury.
Allergic reactions can be serious and can cause severe itching, pain, eyelid scaling, redness, blurred vision, or shortness of breath. If these symptoms don’t go away within 24 hours, DO NOT try to remove the lashes yourself. Instead, schedule a professional removal and seek medical help.
Sensitivities: mild redness, itching or swelling. If these symptoms resolve within 24 hours, you can keep the lashes on.
Why should I wash my eyelash extensions?
If careless with eyelash extension hygiene, viruses and harmful bacteria can get on the lashes. When these viruses and bacteria enter your eyes, they can lead to serious eye infections such as conjunctivitis (pink eye). Some infections can lead to vision loss and permanent damage to the eyes.
